Born from a passion for Taiwanese baking, Rita’s Bakery brings the unique flavours and traditions of Taiwan to London. Taiwanese bakery culture is a beautiful blend of Asian creativity and Western baking techniques, known for its soft, delicate textures, balanced flavours, and thoughtful craftsmanship.

Our journey began in Taiwan, where Rita developed her baking skills and discovered the joy of creating breads and cakes that bring people together. After moving to the UK, she wanted to share the familiar tastes of home while introducing more people to the wonderful world of Taiwanese and Asian-inspired baking.

Since starting Rita’s Bakery in 2017, we have grown from a small home-based passion into a bakery loved by our local community. Every item is handmade in small batches with care, using quality ingredients and traditional techniques to create flavours that are comforting, unique, and memorable.

From soft Taiwanese-style breads and classic favourites to celebration cakes made for special moments, each creation reflects our belief that simple ingredients, careful craftsmanship, and a little love can create something truly special.
